RESILIENCE MAP

This interactive map serves as a window into the connections between Tribal Nations, researchers, and partners across Arizona. By placing IRes Hub grantee projects within the context of sovereign lands, the map highlights how resilience work is grounded in place and guided by Indigenous leadership. The Resilience Map shows more than locations; it reflects the relationships, networks, and collaborations that strengthen communities. Visitors can see how projects are distributed, how they align with community priorities, and how sovereignty shapes resilience efforts across the state.

Why This Matters

Context

The map illustrates the presence of 22 Tribal Nations across Arizona and the network of IRes Hub grantees. It helps visitors understand the scope of resilience work and the communities involved.

Accountability

Displaying grantees within the context of Tribal homelands reinforces that all projects take shape within sovereign Nations and must honor those relationships.

Transparency

This map allows visitors to see where partnerships and resources are being developed, aligning with the priorities defined by Tribal Nations and community partners.

Invitation

This map is meant as a collaborative reference point, not as a replacement for Nation authority or voice. It reflects our commitment to honoring sovereignty while making partnerships visible in ways that are open and transparent. We invite Tribal Nations and partners to provide feedback and corrections so the map remains accurate, respectful, and aligned with community values. In this way, the map stays a living tool that evolves alongside the relationships and priorities it represents.
